Three steps to connect

OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, so there's nothing to pre-register. Open Claude, paste the URL, approve.

  1. Open Claude Desktop

    Go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Works on macOS and Windows.

  2. Paste the URL

    Enter https://mcp.getgaragehub.com/mcp and click Connect. Claude will open your browser to GarageHub to ask for permission.

  3. Approve & go

    Pick the scopes you want to grant (read or read + write). Claude loads the tools and you're done. Revoke anytime from Settings → Access & connections.

  • Cost & trend analysis

    "What's my Civic costing per mile?" Claude pulls the logs, aggregates, and shows a breakdown by category and year.

  • Schedule awareness

    "What's due next?" Claude surfaces overdue and upcoming schedule items, parts needed, and estimated cost to finish them.

  • Repair research

    Ask Claude to research a repair — it queries GarageHub's knowledge base and falls back to live LLM lookup for novel questions.

  • Writes are gated

    Every mutation asks for explicit approval before it lands. You see a plain-English preview of what's about to change.

  • read + write

    Read + mutate

    Everything above, plus create / update / delete vehicles, logs, parts, items, and schedule. Every write asks for your approval with a plain-English preview.

Revoke anytime. Go to Settings → Access & connections in the web app to see every connected app and disconnect with one click. Tokens are hashed at rest, rotate on every refresh, and expire after 1 hour of inactivity. Full detail in our privacy policy.
