Why not just ask ChatGPT?

You can, for general questions. What it doesn't have is your car's file: the mileage, what you did last spring, the parts already on your shelf. Rev keeps that file and answers from it, and it can write what you tell it back into your records.

Does Rev change my records without asking?

No. When Rev wants to log a job, add an item or set a reminder, it shows you what it will save. Nothing is written until you confirm.

Can an AI diagnose car problems from a photo?

Yes. Snap the leak, the worn part or the warning light, and Rev suggests likely causes and how urgent it is, for your vehicle and mileage. Treat it as a second opinion and check safety-critical work against your service manual.

Is the AI mechanic free?

Yes. The free plan covers one vehicle, 15 Rev messages, 30 photo or receipt analyses and 3 research guides a month. Premium ($9.99/mo or $79.99/yr) makes them unlimited and adds unlimited vehicles.
