The Cupra Tax: Hard Driving Shortens Everything

Cupra models don't need exotic maintenance — they need more frequent ordinary maintenance. Heat is the multiplier. If you use the performance, shorten the oil interval to 10,000 km or 12 months, do brake fluid every 2 years without fail (it's hygroscopic, and boiling old fluid on a mountain descent is how you meet a barrier), and treat DSG fluid as a 40,000 km item.
